When you adjust image
brightness, contrast, and fade in AutoCAD Map 3D, the changes you make
affect the display of the image as well as the plotted output, but
do not affect the original raster image file. Adjust brightness
to darken or lighten an image. Adjust contrast to make poor-quality
images easier to read. Adjust fade to make vectors easier to see over
images or to create a watermark effect in your plotted output.
option does not affect images you added with Data
. If the image you are inserting is supported,
connect to it and add it to your map using Data
. This gives you more control over styling
and other options.
