Setting Image Density

To change the density unit when inserting an image

  1. Click Home tabData panelInsert An Image. At the Command prompt, enter mapiinsert.
  2. In the Insert Image dialog box, select the image(s) to insert.
  3. Select Modify Correlation.
  4. Click Open.
  5. Select the Source tab. Select the units.

To set the default density value and density unit

  1. In the Tool-based Ribbon Workspace, click Insert tabImage panelangle-arrow.
  2. In the Import dialog box, select the Image Defaults tab.
  3. In the Density box, type a default density for images. This should be the scanned resolution. For example, if the majority of your images were scanned at 300 dots per inch, type 300.
  4. In the Units box, select the default unit for the insertion point and density of images. For example, if the majority of your images were scanned at 300 dots per inch, then select Inch.
  5. Click OK.
