System Requirements

Before installing any Autodesk® products, it is important that you verify that your computer meets, or exceeds, the minimum system requirements for operation.

If your system does not meet the minimum requirements, problems can occur while running the product, and at the operating system level.

System Requirements (32-bit)

The following tables outline the hardware and software requirements if you're running on a system installed with a 32-bit environment.

Memory 2 GB RAM (minimum)

4 GB RAM (recommended)

Display Resolution A graphics adapter supporting a resolution of:
  • 1280 x 1024with true color (minimum)
  • 1600 x 1200 with true color (recommended)
  • Multiple monitors are supported
Hard Disk

8 GB for installation (downloaded file)

4 GB for program files
Pointing Device MS-Mouse compliant

Additional Requirements for 3D Modeling
  • Intel Pentium 4 processor or AMD Athlon, 3.0 GHz or greater or Intel or AMD Dual Core processor, 2.0 GHz or greater.
  • 8 GB RAM or more.
  • 2 GB free hard disk space available not including installation.
  • 1280 x 1024 true color video display adapter with 128 MB memory, Pixel Shader 3.0 or greater, Direct3D® capable workstation class graphics card.

Note: Recommended video memory is 256 MB for normal images, and 512 MB for Medium Image Material Library images.

Note: Adobe® Flash® Player is not installed by default. If a version of Flash is not currently installed on your system, a message is displayed requesting that you install it. Flash Player can be installed from the product media or Adobe’s website - www.adobe.com.
