Removes unused items,
such as block definitions and layers, from the drawing.
Summary
The -purge command provides the ability to remove
unused items from a drawing through scripts. -PURGE removes only
one level of reference. Repeat -PURGE until there are no unreferenced,
named objects. You can use PURGE or -PURGE at any time during a
drawing session.
NoteThe PURGE command
will not remove unnamed objects (zero-length geometry or empty text
and mtext objects) from blocks or locked layers.
