Create 3D Objects

Create 3D Objects

Create Meshes
With AutoCAD you can create wireframe
models by positioning any 2D planar object anywhere in 3D space.
You can position 2D objects in 3D space using several methods:
- Create the object by entering 3D points.
You enter a coordinate that defines the X, Y,
and Z location of the point.
- Set the default construction plane (XY plane)
on which you will draw the object by defining a UCS.
- Move the object to its proper orientation
in 3D space after you create it.
Also,
you can create some wireframe objects, such as lines and 3D polylines, that
can exist in all three dimensions.
For more information
on creating wireframes, see “Create Wireframe Models” in
the AutoCAD User's Guide.
